soil ph meter and other essentials: list and recommendations

starting an indoor grow for the first time.
From my research Ive gathered i need to monitor soil ph, air humidity and temperature.
CO2 measurements is something i can forgo for the first few rounds.
Am I missing out on any other essential I need to measure?
In terms of price sensitivity and budget Im not looking for the cheap quality last 6 months kinda gear.
Im looking for something thats reasonably accurate and will last a while.
Any recommendations on what brands, models and makes to buy would hugely appreciated.

Acu-rite temp and humidity combo from any big box store. Ph meter can be had from Amazon, I have a cheaper one and its every bit as good as a more expensive one I had a few years back. You want a Ph meter for your water/nutes. You can use the meter before watering and measure the runoff that comes out of the bottom.

Water and nutes pH is more important than soil pH , and you will need a ppm/ec meter .
