Soil Question

Is a mix of peat moss, perlite, and organic black earth a good mix?

My seeds are starting to pop.. I have 4 Female seeds lemon kush, 3 humboldt seeds organisastion og kush, 1 barnys farm vanilla kush, 1 greenhouse pure kush, 1 dinafem industrial plant, 1 Humboldt sour diesel #2, and 1 cali connection blue dream haze germing now. In the room I have a few bag seed, 1 greenhouse white widow, and 1 nirvana blue mystic..

Dirt from outside your house or bagged? If from outside your door you should read up on baking it to kill nematodes, bacteria and weed seeds before mixing. Basically though sounds like a good mix.

the guy who lived in the the apartment left 3 bags of organic black earth in the basement.. i just picked up the perlite and peat moss, thanks for the comment . Been thinking of doing a grow journal on the homboldt's and blue dream haze if anyone would have interest.. seems like there are no journals on homboldt as their a newer breeder and from what i've heard until recently the blue dream haze was clone only..

i am definitely interested ...

i went with just the peat moss and perlite, had to get some pots so i asked the dude who owns the hydro store.. he said black earth is more of an outdoor additive to make your garden hold water better..

get urself some sunshine#4, ocean forest and fox farm planting mix. 1/4 ocean forest 1/4 FFPM and 1/2 Sunshine #4... Use the sunshine to sprout your seeds and then the mix when you do your first transplant and you'll be on your way.

i knew fox farm was going to be mentioned.. its just not an option for me at the time.. no one in town has it and im too broke to order online.. I have used all my cunning to get a closet set up on the tightest budget.. 400 watt hps with some add on's. after everything else and buying bud and seeds I'm flat broke.. My goal is only to grow my own stash and that alone will save me enough cash to get a better set up and the HQ gear. i have general organics nutes.. any1 use them?
