Soil SCROG + SOG ??

so my current grow is a weak soil sog and I say weak because I had to toss 3 of my 12 plants after mites got them good.

I use 1.5 gal containers and my flower space is about 4x4 and it could handle up to 20 of the 1.5 gal containers.

so my question is this-- would my yield dramatically improve if I SCROG'd each individual plant with its own screen and then fit 20 into my flower space doing a SOG as well. I think it'd look bad ass too
