Soil test says on it this soil test is applicale for agricultural grassland and does not apply to organic soils and peat based soils

yet the dude I ordered it from said mix my peat and organic amendments before the test

now I got results and there like giantly out
Like phosphorus kg/l should be 500-800 mine says 3200

so how reliable is it when it says it cant be used on organic gardening ?

I think those soil tests are meant more for field soils, or at least the recommended nutrient concentrations they give. Most of the ones folks post on here, the numbers are way off the chart, unless the mix is really depleted.

So ya saying they dissolve all the organic matter which is slow release stuff in 1 go and fuck the results up
Only reliable stat then would be a depleted stat right ?

I also think the soil people use in container gardening is much "hotter" than field soil. Less total volume for the roots to explore, so the nutrients have to be more concentrated to begin with.
