Soil testing

I'm curious about sending soil samples in to have them analyzed. I do no-till organic and I've had no problems with the soil at all, just curious to see if it is as healthy as I think it is, or if any improvements could/should be made.

When is the best time to send samples? Is it better to do it now, so that I could add amendments(my soil is pretty frozen right now) and allow more time for them to break down, or would it be better to test in the spring?

Does anyone have any suggestions for the best place to get soil tested/analyzed?
I've read some folks like Spectrum Analytic.

Thanks

I would send my samples now because you really want to know what’s going on in the soil before you plant and it can only help to know and deficiencies or surpluses you have in there. But if you haven’t had any problems, it would be a whenever you got to it kinda thing. Just my 2 cents. Have a great day!!

They sell soil testing kits for gardeners at pretty much any garden centre. Usually they're for tomato growers, but you can still figure out basics using them.
