Solarspec 150 do the job?

I'm going to be using a gorilla 2x2.5 grow tent to grow 2 plants. I've been looking into amaretech lights and was wondering if the ss150 will do the job. I'd like to go with the ss260 but after exchange and everything it's too much $$$.
They say the ss150 would delivery similar par values to a 600w hps @18".

Any thoughts, suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
No mars lights for this guy.

Ever consider cobs?

The ss150 will do the job for a 2x2. I'd go with the cree version instead of the epistar version.
