Solfire and Mephisto Organic Grow

*Trying organics for the first time so take this as a warning*

I like both these breeders and as I pop new seeds I'll update the thread. I am starting with Mind Flayer by Solfire and Skywalker from Mephisto.

Planted into solo cups with Happy Frog soil. 16 days later I transplanted into 3 gal fabric pots for the autos and 5 gal for the photos.

Soil is Fox Farms Ocean Forest mixed with perlite, earth worm castings, mycorrhizae, and Earth Dust Base. I let this cook for 4 weeks prior to use.

Water is RO water that comes out between 0 and 4 ppm on average. My tap water has something in it that plants don't like so have to filter. This may lead to a calmag issue I may have to address at some point. Cross that bridge when we get to it.

Using a 4x4 tent for now. 8x4 is in the mail. Have two Mars Hydro TSL2000's going at 50 percent power so its 300 watts currently.
Temp is 76 (24c)lights on 65 (18c)off. 65 RH

Open to all questions, comments, suggestions, and the like.

Plants were all given a fish fertilizer tea. This was fish emulsion, worm castings, and compost aerated for 36 hours before being used.
After use the autoflowers showed slight nitrogen excess but nothing serious.
Attached photos are the skywalker autos. One pheno is untouched. The other is deformed and grew multiple tops naturally.

Plants went a week in a half with plain water. Just watered with an alfalfa tea.

Swapped the photoperiod plants into 30 gal pots. That was a chore. The mix was
Ocean forrest
Worm castings
Earth dust base
Mycorrhizae
And let cook for 2 weeks and some for 6 weeks. I had to use more soil than anticipated as this was a spur of the moment decision lol.

Autos are growing great and need daily watering. They get the same teas for now but recipes will change for the small and large pots.

Anyone help me decide if this is a deficiency I should worry about or am I chasing perfection too far?
Browning on the leaves, mostly the lower ones. Brown areas are mostly tips. Pictures attaches. The general plants are happy and praying with mostly nice green leaves. Input appreciated.

Nine days since my last post. The plants received a heavily amended tea of just a little of everything I had around. Call it the kitchen top tea lol. Consisted of Alaskan fish fertilizer, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, earth dust boost, worm castings, and earth dust base too cuz why not. Plants seemed to really like this.

Also began to clean the skirts of the photos to make watering easier and encourage growth up. Just switched the photos to flower as well so they have their own tent space and share the 600 watts. Right now dimmed to 300 and going up to 400 next week. Then another week and ill go 500 and then finally 600 the following week.

Took 4 clones early from these two plant and they all rooted. As soon as I saw roots I transplanted and fear that was the wrong move. Took more clones and rooting now. We will see how it goes.

Skywalker autos are doing pretty well. Some leaves yellowing and falling off here and there. After the teas the plants looks much much healthier. Probably finish up on the breeders estimate of 10 weeks. Im currently just coming up to week 8 tomorrow.

Thats all for now.20201022_183052.jpg20201022_183056.jpg20201021_191013.jpg20201017_092454.jpg20201017_084529.jpg20201017_084652.jpg20201022_183355.jpg20201022_183439.jpg20201022_183433.jpg

The Mind Flayer is one week into flip and already doing its thing. I can't wait to get some smells off these girls. Topped em with some seabird guano and earth castings and fed with an alfalfa and guano tea. Watts are up to 450/600 and going up to 600 in another week.20201030_190655.jpg20201101_161524.jpg20201101_161528.jpg20201101_161538.jpg
