Thank you all that replied the advice was great, but Will a 450 CFM inline fan connected to the 1000wHPS hood to exhaust the hot air in the attic keep the temp down???Money is tight so i want to make sure it will work before i spend more. Iwant to make sure before i buy a stronger inline fan that it would for sure bring the temp down, because the home depot inline fan is garbage. I can also have cooler air come from my bedroom through ducting to the intake vent on my hood. Without the HPS light on the room stays between 68 and 72 degrees untill the summer when i run the AC.
I have a 5X5 closet with a 8 foot cieling with no AC vent. I have constructed the room with little modification because I live in a apartment in CA. I have a 1000W HPS with a Hydrofarm hood hooked up to very dissapointing 6" inline fan from Home Depot that exhaust into the attic right now. I turned everything on and within 30 min the room is at 91 degrees with the closet door open. Is there anybody that has had similar problem and fixed it. Can it be solved simply with a stronger inline fan and cool air being sucked into the HPS hood?
