Has anyone tried the Soma style for stressing your plants to flower male flowers on a female plant for femed seeds.

I don't want to do the ionic silver method.

Soma says the lets the plants flower for two extra weeks then hangs to dry. then he checks for flowers, and uses this pollen in the future for femed seeds.

I was thinking about harvesting most of the plant and just leaving one or two colas for the extra two weeks. then checking.

Yea i have been interested in this since i read it, it sounds easier to just put another plant at 2/12 weeks flowering with the herm as it shows instead of collecting pollen, but if you dont have that option storing it for 2months sounds useful. Let me know how it goes if you try it before i do

i wish i had a handful of the nycd seeds. my nycd grow is still going on and it looks like my grow may take 14 weeks to complete... they do look like they may be worth it so i will hang in for the ride.

Yeah i think i am going to do it. I have a real nice indica growing right now. And the way i see it is, i'll finish it like normal. But then harvest everything but on big cola and the leaves, then let it flower for another two weeks. I think the half harvest and the extra time should stress it enough to make pollen. I will keep a good documentation of it im my grow journal.
