Some noobs questions I have not yet found the answers too.

Ive been reading a lot about simple growing recently. I still have some basic questions though..

What are some low cost ways to humidify the plant during veg and flowering?

What are some low cost ways to fan and ventilate the plant while flowering?

On average what would would you say would be the lowest possible temperature for inside the grow box during the few hours the lights are off?

what is ur setup? what dimensions? and u prob dont want to humidify ur plant. you want the air to be pretty dry. the dry air encourages the plant to produce more resin coating. the resin protects the plant from the dry air. we like resin.

You want humidity in the 50s for veg, high 50s are great. A cool mist humidifier is around $30 at walmart and works well. Ordinary fans are good too. Those that oscillate are good and smaller ones that clamp on are easy to position. Min temp in lights off is hard to say. it can get pretty chilly and not kill them but they can be stressed and growth stunted. I wouldn't worry at all about 65. If that is a problem in your grow area, ceramic heaters with thermostats work well on low settings. They only come on when temp drops below a certain point and shut off when it rises above that.

i totaly agree with illegal.. i was getting low temps in my room and got meself one of those little heaters from like home depot and it works great.. like illegal said it only comes on as needed.. it took me a couple of days to figure out where to set the dial at as i got a cheap version that had no thermostat on it and i had to keep looking at the temp in my room and adjusting it accordingly.. works good... i was always told that a temp betweej 68 on the low side and 78 on the high side are ideal, and that is not too far off of illegals low of 65... good luck
