Some sory of deficiency couple weeks into flowering, N?

Hey there guys I've got some deficiency happening in my grow, and need your help finding the best way to cure it!

These guys are in FFOF soil, and have been getting light doses of grow big for a while, transitioning into some fox farms flowering nute sample packs I have soon. I'm a little wary to stray away from the higher N of the grow big while I'm having this issue! What to do?

(PS yes I know red cups are BAAAAAAAD, but I have no more floor space for the larger pots, so I'm just going to have to see how they do. The issue is not solely with them so it's not the cup that's the issue.)


In the first pic, the front plant near the right side shows a little bit of the yellowing. The second pic far left leaf shows it very well. It's happening to the plants fast enough for me to be worried about it. More grow big?

cant see any prob,just keep using same fert. dont add more N as this can cause the bud to go fluffy.yellowing is natural during flowering.

It could be N def but it's more likely that the soil's Ph is off. That problem comes a distant second to the fact that your plants are way to big for those plastic cups.

It's unfortunately a common misconception that large buds have to equal dying leaves. If a plant has enough room for root growth throughout the flowering process and is given steadily increasing levels of nutrients as the buds get bigger, it can have green leaves straight through to harvest.

Do you rotate your plants? Just wondering

Btw my girls are four weeks into flowering and they had a shit ton of yellowing leaves but I added growth aka n nutes to the flowering formula and it worked so yea i think that could possibly be the problem. Give em a dose of n and then if they don't turn green in a day or two then its not the problem.

Mothers I started the grow with a high PH soil, sitting around 7. I've been using vinegar to bring it down sucessfully for probably a month now, I'll have to check em out again!

Xiphos, they get reorganized every few days so different sides of all the plants are getting good light. I'll try to cautiously add a little Grow Big and watch them

if its too leafy at harvest your buds will taste green. u dont want grow big you want grow "bud".

you still add a little N during flowering. during the 3 or 4 week period..just a little bit though

I'm keeping up with a little grow big right now, they don't look to be progressing as much! We'll see, I'll get it figured out.

Ahhh! the problem is still advancing. I've tried giving it a healther bit of grow big, didn't seem to help. She seems to be yellowing from the veins out, leaves are getting kinda papery as they get completely yellow. Here are the stats:
I'm about 3 weeks into flowering, my tap water PH's around 7 and I've been using vinegar to bring the PH down. I'm a little wary of the vinegar in fear that it could hurt the plants so I've been taking it easy (I'm using a 1L water bottle to water, and I give 1-2 capfulls of vinegar along with the nutes. My PH tester is a soil PH tester, but in water it seems to work I bring the waters PH down to 6 after shaking and letting it sit for a while. I just PH tested the soils and read 6.5. I know that's too high, would you guys be comfortable adding more vinegar?

BTW it is NOT only related to the party cups, one of my clones in a larger container is getting it worst, leaves yellowing out a lot!

Just did more reading on vinegar...seems I have a reason to be scared of it. I'm done using it. Fortunately it's raining right now so I've got another water source for the time being haha!

The problem with pot size isn't width, it's depth. None of the pots in the pics appear to be much if any deeper than the cups. To put the pot issue to rest, pull one of the cup plants and one of the potted plants out of their containers. If any plant's roots are swirling around and bunching up at the bottom, it needs to be repotted. Removing plants from their pots is easiest and the most safe when the soil is dry but you should check whether damp or not. Squeeze the sides of the container to free the soil from sticking to the pot. Grab the main stem at the base with one hand and push on the top of the container with the other. Slide your hand down the root ball as you remove it, supporting its weight.
