some weird shit

Hello everyone,

i'm currently growing some strawberry & banana but something is going horrible wrong,
i've had 6 grows before this one with 6 different strains and they've all been pretty decent.
But this one is really giving me problems early stage.
It had gotten extremely hot a few days whilst I was gone and my 6 plants got slighly burnt, probably what triggered it to stop growing, now it's growing again just slow.

But all these other plant sicknesses are just seeming like they're getting worse and I don't know whats going on.

Shine some knowledge and tell me what you could identify from these pictures

thank you alot

try describing every aspect of your space unless you like guessing games?

rh
temps(extremely hot??, lke fire? .... they dont burn from normal room heat, they suffocate)
nutrients
watering frequency/amount/source
light source
air movement
c02
soil mix

Yeah you're right, definitely more information needed.

SOIL: BIO Bizz all mix
Nutrients added: 1/4 of the recommended amount of Foxfarms vegative,
Watering frequency: every 3-4 days reduced the amounts due to repotting in big pots and the soil being farely wet already, ph is also stable.
Light source: 125w FLOUR and 400 Watt HPS (not sure if I should do 2 x 125 watt fl)
Air movement have a duct fan bring fresh air from outside into my isolated room, 2 regular fans blowing in direction of the HPS and one blowing against the wall together with the duct for slight air circulation.
I did have all 3 Fans pointing just over the plants a few days ago deifnitely causing stress.
Have a pretty trash humidfier running, so it definitely low rh for starters.

And as in buring I mean I mistakenly had used the wrong bulb a 600 mH bulb way too early and it had definitely made some leaves go dry and crisp, for approx 3 days I had this lamp over my plants a far distance away thus not completely toasting my plants.

Think I found out what the majority of it was, it was a magnesium deficiency triggered from a certain light deprivation, (125 w FL being to low lumens for a dark room and 6 plants)
me lowering down on the nutrient feeding with high magnesium because I didn't want it to get any kind of nutrient burn on top of that and simply from that lightburn with the 600MH.

Now they're reupping their growing speed it seems now, topped them a weeks ago and the tops now seem to start kicking off, in a room with two 125 FL & 1 400 Watt HPS.

If anyone has anything to add please please do!

Sounds like you had a few issues there, but the plants were going through a mag def it looked like from the pics. Intervienal chlorosis.

They're probably going to grow slower due to stress. Get your conditions back on track, sometimes easing up on the light a tad, and an anti-stress, B vitamin/kelp like B-52, check your nute regimen/soil makeup to see if you need to add a little mag. Small adjustments.

Hey thank you!

They certainly were and still are but it's getting better!

Yes. Definitely growing slower but seem to be coming back now, just went through alot due to all those issues but no better feeling then getting to know your plants better and act on whichever sickness or needs they are lacking.

Made small adjustments like a not all to strong nettle fertilizer that I plan to spray or induce into the soil.
Raised the lights a little bit higher,
bettered my air circulation by closing of the growing section with flat white foil
slowly getting back to my normal nutrient schedule

Looks like just plain ol straight light burn to me...
Hey GreenBean, thank you for your response!

yes! just cut some of the leaves off and the majority does look like plan ol' light burn and magnesium deficiency.

Had to water a little bit more due to nutrient schedule so they are a little droopy.
And the slight heat stress but that will also dissapear soon but other than that seems to be gradually coming back to 'green' life.

bro, dont believe the hype. Adding Mg without verifying your soil needs it is a mistake.

Soil testing works better than amateur deficiency hypothesizing every time
Hey man!

aight i'll get to testing it tommorow morning, no harm in knowing the exact nutrient content accumulation.
Definitely better than picture assumptions.

Thanks mane
