Sour Diesel & Shiva Skunk Medical Strains, Dusty 400w Homemade Box Grow

First Grow for some personal medsbongsmilie

~Clones from the Club - (Shiva Skunk & Sour Diesel)
~The pic above is a pick of when I first got them an put them in my dusty ass basement with only a light.
~400watt MH/HPS switchable light with a built in ballast.
~I then made homemade box converted from a 50 year old home made cabinet. (32X24X63)

I am running only 2 50 cfm fans and the temp is great. The basement is sooooo dusty but the filters over the fan are doing wonders. Averaging from 68-75 degrees. Humidity is chillen around 48-55. here is a pic of the box after is was finally completed.

The box is pretty ghetto looking but it does the job.

Currently they are under the MH light

The Sour Diesel seems to be kicking ass because it is way fuller than the Shiva Skunk.

Other Nerdy Stoner Specs

Planted them straight in Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Watering with reverse osmosis water from the water store (using an aerator to keep some oxygen in the water). PH is around 6.5.

Bump...I need to get some nutes, any suggestions??
Anyone think I should start flowering to keep the size to a minimum?

Nice, I've been wanting to try some sour diesel but I need to get some carbon filters first, I've heard that is some smelly stuff.

Tell you one thing, it is very small and already has a pretty strong smell. I am going ot add the carbon filter later when I get some more money.

If you are on a budget you should look into making your own. There are some tutorials out there and it's a hell of a lot cheaper. Basically you get a duct fan, some 6" duct, and some sheets of carbon paper (all from somewhere like Home Depot) and put it all together.

It's a pretty heavy yielder. It's been around for a little over 20 years I believe and it's said to be the strongest skunk strain available. Not sure how true that is though. Good stuff though for sure.

Bought Pura Vida Organics for Bloom and veg. Just watered so one veg feeding next watering and then water, then another water, then start flowering....

the sour diesel is still ruling! I had to bend it down to save room. Seemed like a good idea.

2 days later after feeding and GEEZ. They are both bushier already. My plants seem to look a lot bushier than a lot of plants on here....something wrong or is it from the bending??

My sour diesel is like all posting to the side. Gangster lean making it so more buds ar going to burst open during flowering. I don't see people bend too much, seems like it helps with yield...I would never know, this is my first grow.

The Shiva is coming along, a bit slower thatn the Sour Dieslel but a differnet plant right??

Alright dude, Jst had to show you this Monster Shiva Skunk. Its one plant in an 80 ltr pot of soil and under a 400 HPS, View attachment 1038581View attachment 1038582
