Sour Grapes

Picked this up from SJCBC yesterday

The pic doesn't really do it justice.

Overall rating: 9.0

Smell: 8

Danky green grape smell, light chemical undertone, deisel

Taste: 10

Pure green grapes, sweet to start then progresses to a deiselly finish, smooth smoke

Potency: 8.5

Smoked 2 bong hits and I was good

High: 8

Nice mix of mind and body, 60/40 mind to body high. No couchlock but nice floaty feeling in the body with mental clarity and acute contemplative potential. Would be good when playing games requiring abstract problem solving, chess for example.

Overall I am pleased with this pick up.

Who sells the beans to sour grapes?
I have never seen the beans available anywhere, so not real sure on that one. The plant is available in clone form through oaksterdam nursery here in California. They distribute to a few dispensaries around the state. I know a couple hobby breeders who are working with it because of the sweet green grape flavor and nice tricome formation but it is highly unlikely those beans will ever see mass distribution.

That is a bomb picture! Gotta love that frostiness. Props to you, I hope mine turn out the same.

Since this strain looks so bomb, I did some research and I've been scanning the forums and it turns out that Sour Grapes is actually renamed from the Grape Stomper strain. Apparently someone took it from Gage Green and renamed it/sold it to Blue Sky in Oakland. http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Grape_Stomper/Clone_Only_Strains/

If you're looking for seeds, http://gagegreen.org has "non-clone only" version of Sour Grapes called Purple Snowman and a BX version of Sour Grapes called Dumbo. I'm gonna go for the original version, picking some up from Attitude Seedbank!
