Southern California Outdoor Grow

Last year was my first outdoor grow, so I'm a bit of a noob. I am growing again this year and have done a little research on what types of seeds to get. I want high yield and high quality that grows well in Southern Cali. I love super resiny buds. Anyone have suggestions on plants that can withstand 115 degree heat, outdoor, in 50 gallon planters?

LA confidential or chimeras C4 are doing well outdoors for me but I used a greenhouse. vancouver seedbank has C4 then again you might get different phenotypes or something
