Ok here goes. Going to document this grow. Its a bit of a jumble fck but i think no problem. I'll cull some out and all will be ok. Four 9lb hammer regs started and stunded a bit bacause of super dry conditions. so started some other seeds Exotic genetix "ruby grand (1)fem", Quikz (2) fems, and (1) ds si dos 33. Watered with very week nutes to try and service them all and got a slight calcium deficience on the older 9lb hammer. it should be all peachy now that I've made the adjustments. Now of course the small seedlings are looking over watered but never worry about that too much at this stage because obviously the rockwool holds a ton of water for those tiny roots. that will work itself out as well. Besides I'll probably end up killing the smaller 4 as I'm in a 2x2 space and no way can I accomidate all of them. so it goes. Anyway heres the start.

Ruby grand started 12/24. Quikz and DSD 33 started 12/28

heres the current situation. Again don't mind the calcium deficiency. It is now fixed.

Must admit this is the dumbest journal title ever
Hes putting one up also I think
It's nothing really. Just seeing if I can turn around a grow in 3 months. We shall see. :D

Here I just made one

Left out one detail from yesterdays journal entry.
A photo of the day the 9lb seedlings were topped (1/6. 9 days ago) and then a pic from today. Some would say topped a way too early.
Also went from calcium deficient to a little nitrogen toxicity in a matter of days. These are going to be finicky.

1/14 today notice a little bit of nitrogen clawing on a couple of plants.

6 days apart comparison. Worked through an early calcium deficiency and then some nitrogen clawing but for now I think its getting dialed in.
Growth is fast. If everything stays balanced I'll be flipping these before the week is over. Again the 4 little ladies are going to be my back up plan for a SOG if unfortunately the 9lb hammers all go male (I think anyway. its going to get awefully crowded in there the next two weeks). We shall see. Ideally I'll end up with two healthy female 9lb. Cant get much more into this tiny 2x2 space.

Dyna-Gro (pro-tekt, grow, and mag-pro) about 1/3 strength
PH 5.8ish
ppfd around 550-580ish. according to my "PPFD meter" app. It works pretty well on this phone actually.
EC .9 (Tap water starts at around 250ppm) I usually prefer about .7 at this point but I'll watch it and see how it goes.

So we are just a couple days over 1 month from germination of the 4 bigger plants. They are starting to grow in leaps and bounds and its getting a bit crowded in there. The good news is I've found a foster home for the 4 smaller seedlings and they will be out of the tent later today. That means I'll be flipping the larger plants to 12/12 tomorrow. Right now I'm hoping that the two on the left are the ones that turn out to be ladies. they seem to have the best structure. However I'll take whatever two females I can get. I haven't grow regs in a long time so I'll be bummed if they all go male.
Anyhow the nutes seem pretty balanced finally and everything is looking good as of now. That will leave me about 8 weeks from flip to get to 3 months. We shall see.....

Temp: 77

Dyna-Gro: Pro-Tekt, Grow, and Mag-Pro (1/3 of recomended dose)

Comments welcome...

1/20 FLIP DAY!
Nothing much to report today other than documenting that this is flip day. The smaller plants have been shipped off to their new home and now its time to focus on the plants on hand. Just a couple of days over one month since germination. The plan moving forward is not going to be much of anything but keep them healthy. I won't be defoliating much at all (maybe just some pruning here and there). I won't even be training much. Just going to let them grow and do what they do. Fingers crossed that I get a couple of females and preferibly the ones on the left. That plant on the back right is a bit gangly but workable. Same with the one on the front right. So keeping my fingers crossed that the left side is the females.

1st morning after Flip. Plants look good after removing all the clutter.
I'm not sure if I'll swizzle, swazzle, or lolipppoooop. Probably none of the above. Ha ha.
