I am a fan of my spiderfarmer gear,but I cannot attest to the slide of the lights. That said, read the actual warranties of both companies and check the fine print. I saw some explanation of SF's warranty and it's kind of a bummer. Once again, I'm super happy so far and anticipate no issues out of my gear. But then again, we never do, do we? Lol

I think with some constraint - most well built LEDs would last a long time. I can attest to that - i bought original Quantum Boards ( late 2015 ) from HLG / Northern Grow lights ( back then ) and have personally run them OG boards up to present perpetually.Something like 7 years or so. No defects .
But then again I don’t throw max power on them either. They are mid power diodes by design.
I guess bottom line is how hard you run them . I have COBs just as old and they are still bright.

What to say...everything wears. Those numbers represent the Operational lifetime,
it does not correlate with luminous flux or diode wear for example. Most available public, accurate data is from a period when 2.5 efficiency panels were introduced so it only gives some direction for the keen.
These days around 30 000h marks a more notable wear on red diodes, dirt accumulation and a total luminosity of about 70-80% only. (HID for example loses luminousity over 10x faster but it stables there at 80ish% and later becomes narrower banded and more red, less energy output)

I agree with @Budzbuddha, push em harder, they'll crap out quicker.
Take speakers, for instance. You have max watts, and nominal watts. Try keeping them at max at all times, see how long they last, before they take a shit.

RMS is the continual power that measures average wattage driven without distortion whereas max watts tell momentarily wattage driven without distortion when given maximum current. Too low current always distorts at lower consumption ofc.
Don't even get me started on damping factors, jitter and other nonsense lol
So to put a led panel for that consumption equals almost 300% the normal input which is impossible.
Totally different kind of tech to compare but I digress...
I usually put my lights 85% tops, they're most efficient at about there

I don't put a lot of credence in any MTBF hour estimate for electronics, they get those numbers without using real world testing/evaluation. The only thing you can really do to increase longevity is to keep the LEDs and power supply as cool as possible. I've got SF 4000 and SF 2000 lights, here's what I use to try to keep the heat sink and power supply as cool as possible.
