Hey Guys,

I got Afghan flowering 5 and a half weeks now. The trichs are almost all milky in color. Spider mites have taken over, it's way too late, they are ravaging my plants. My question is, will I still get a good high from the buds? They are compact and they look nice. (sorry no pics) Also, for my next grow, how do I prevent them? I keep my room very clean, I got fans ect... but they still keep coming. Any help is appreciated, thanks everyone!

It's not too late to kill them. Get some insect vegetable and fruit safe spray and spray the little buggers. Let the plant finish to full maturity.

When your grow is finished buy one of the smokers and smoke the room, that should kill anything in there. I heard that you can even use the smoker when they're in flowering, but don't point it at the plant.

Hope that helps. Good luck and post up some pics.

Yuck spider mites!

Will you get high? Yup

Should you harvest? Thats really up to you. If the trichs are looking good and decently milky, then I personally might consider an early harvest, so no more damage can be done to your plant, but i cant say for sure without any pics.

I would stay away form spraying anything on your buds this far into flower, you dont want to risk mold!

Spider mite prevention: Keep any pets/animals away from plants, mist the bottom of the leaves with water every couple days or so, (spider mites hate getting wet)

Another reallly good way to prevent em is to get some lady bugs and bring em into your garden, they like to eat the little buggers.
