ok folks these fuckers are pissing me off!!! i have access to forbid, and if i use it again...it'll be the third spray. my mites arent terrible, but these suckers breed like crazy!!! heres my problem. i have a small perpetual...13 girls just starting to flower, and 2 others that will be ready in 2 weeks tops. i cant spray my 2 weekers with forbid...but i can the others...i heard forbid was the best stuff out there, and the cost is outrageous! and mighty wash i heard is the newest and best thing as well...which one??!!!! i could really use some super good help here! im tired of these f'ing bugs raping my girls!!

No Pest Strips @ Home DePot. for around $10 bucks....do some research on Dichlorvos @ this page starting at post #18 and reading through the sources and posts. Make a choice whether or not they are right for you. I will tell you that with out a doubt they do work.

a buddy of mine has a hydro op, and has been battling spider mites on and off, with forbid for about 3-4 months...im the guy he calls when he needs help cutting, or setting shit up...it never occured to me that they could hitch a ride on my clothes...considering they are foliage destroyers.

What i did to my outdoor plants is mix per 1 gallon of water
10 drops ivory soap and 1 oz of h2o2
I spray about everyother day and my plants seem to enjoy it. Hasnt harmed them on bit

so...i went to my store, and the guy didnt have forbid or mighty wash...so i got sns 217, and it was a small lil free promo bottle...so i hit 'em with that...not my 2 week ones though, so i am hoping that it did the trick...there was only a few here and there anyway...but i know it is alot easier to keep in check if taken care of early enough...fingers crossed!!

I use Forbid and Floromite mixed. it kills all species of mites AND their eggs. I don't have a mite problem in the grow room. But I spray the stuff at work and I also get it for free. Yeah Forbid is like $200/qt I think.

Yeah I understand this, but my answer is neither. Honestly Dbkick is there a need to be a dick about someone suggesting a idea trying to help someone with mites? I read everyone's opinion's on my first and only bout' with mites and tried all the sprays/oils/natural predators recommended and nothing really worked until I used the No Pest Strip. And I wish someone would of just said hey go spend $10 on a No Pest Strip and be done with it. So all I was suggesting is that for a lot less $$ you can be done with mites forever. Sorry for suggesting something that works. I didn't think someone would jump down my shit for trying to helping a fellow gardener out. You need to lighten the fuck up.

Mighty Wash wins simply because it kills all mites / eggs and a vast variety of other insects on "Contact" they cannot survive in the water, It has nothing todo with poisoning them, They cannot gain any resistance to Mighty Wash.
I hate those fuckers, tried almost everything safers spray then Neem, azmax, dr doom and straight pryethrum foggers I have some advid i got a small quantity off ebay but my local shop had small quantities of floramite. Man, I used it once in my grow room and I haven't seen a mite in 3 months. My greenhouse went a couple months without mites. Granted with the air flow needed they are back but no where near the numbers and I can control it now.
