Does anyone know of any home recipes on how to get rid of them?. I was told to use rubbing alcohol but how? Do I wipe my plant down with it? Please help. Thanks.

Mighty Wash is safe up till harvest i believe. it would be a much better choice than alcohol. u can go with the predator mites or even easier... go to home depot and buy some live ladybugs. if u got the time to let them do their work, ladybugs will dispatch a swarm of mites in a couple weeks as long as u keep ur exhaust fan screened off so they dont get sucked through the fan. ive used lady bugs once and it was sucessfull.

Google and order Einsten Oil and a wetting agent today, in the mean time wash the plant down today with common household dish soap and water. If you can get some garlic mix it in the spray bottle. Be sure to spray under each one of the leaves.

Who every told you to use alchoal is out of their minds. Spray it on any plant and they will die period.

during veg , I spray every other day.
Cool water with a few drops of dish soap. I spray the plant thoroughly getting the under sides of the leaves well . Thats where the mites like to stay. I learned this from an old Hippie.

Prevention is always good, if outside grow than without a doubt. They come out of no where and can ruin a plant in days.

cheapest way.....airless paint sprayer and soapy water I suppose, next cheapest way airless paint sprayer and purespray green (petroleum oil, a gallon at 60 bux will last a lifetime). but you see the key , a paint sprayer is the shit for applying things to kill mites.

preventing the bug problem before it happens is the best laid plan. i havnt had bugs in a long time now since i started sprayin my ladies every other day or so with neem oil while they r in vegg. i use like 2-3 different kinds of bug killers that i cycle through so the little bastard dont build up a tolerence to any one kind.
