Not sure what this is yet. Ive noticed gnats and trying to fix that problem.. But have one lil guy thats different from the rest.. Little holes or spots thruought the veins... No signs of webbing seen yet. Been checking for like a week now...is this spider mites or something else? And what do i need to do to fix it? Kinda broke atm... So cheapest route for now please. Sry pictures not that great.

How are you fixing the gnats? I noticed a few gnats on my seedlings, picked up h202 at wally world for 50c a bottle, and a bottle of neem oils at lowes for $10. I know the "garden safe" sells the neem oil for 10 and this highly diluted spray for 5 at lowes. Both products are advertised as effective against mites and gnats.

As of this second I would highly recommend the oil. Y-day, Instead of 2tbs/gallon I diluted it to 1:4 neem:water and misted my strongest seedling about to veg. Sprayed her all over. She's still standing no problems or bugs. I would definitely dilute it the way the bottle said though, you just dont have to worry TOO much about overdoing it. Neem feed everthing to kill the gnats, and foliar feed Mitey Bolger over there, thats what I would try

You need thousands before you get webbing. Im not convinced its mites ,need a clear pic of under leaves and the whole plant.

As far as the gnats tho.. We had a customer appreciation day sponsored by one of our grow shops and got a bunch of free stuff.. Gnat mix being one of them.. Covered all my soil with it when i saw the gnats on my seedlings

You're fucked. The whole garden is contaminated. Burn it all down.

Nah just playing. Mites are bitch. Good luck. They're like roaches. You gotta switch it up so they become immune so to speak. Neem should work well. I also like using a mix of fresh aloe and silica. Works great on any pest and plants love it too. Rosemary, citric acid, neem cake, eucalyptus, peppermint are good ones too.

How do you make/mix/apply?

Squeeze gel out of leaf 1 oz per gal of water. Silica. I like agsil or pro tekt. Drain a leaf of sap first by setting it up right. The sap will drain out the cut naturally. Mix and add to a spray bottle and drench your plants.

You can brew botanical teas with the plant material I suggested too. An air pump, air stones and a bucket of water and dry or fresh plant material. Brew for a day strain and spray.

Spider mites are the devil ......I use a alternating formula for the little basterds 4ml neem concentrate with a drop of soap in 25oz spray bottle ...........then il wait about 4days or so and do 5ml azamax in a 25oz bottle ........the neem seems more effective IMO which is weird cause azamax has some of the same shit in it and it's three times the price But that method works well for me ........good luck

I used the pepper spray recipe from this site and can confirm that it works well if applied correctly. I believe the most important part is staying persistent and spraying your plants every 3 or 4 days to stop the breeding cycle along with alternating your recipe to avoid them building a tolerance. Once you have that part down you'll find that almost any of these home remedies will work fine for you. I alternate every two weeks or so between a garlic oil mix, the same neem oil/silica mix given above, and the pepper spray recipe when needed.

If your using neem ...make sure you emulsify it! I made the mistake and it started to suffocate my plants
