Time for a real freak-out. Australia's Golden Orb Weaver is one of the reasons I'll never go to Austrailia. This thing is from a prehistoric nightmare -

One time a friend of was handing out 3-d glasses as a promotion for a new music video his band released.
I watched the video and started looking at other 3d vids on youtube.
As I was watching I saw a spider appear and didn't think much of it until I realized
it was from the corner of my eye coming down from the ceiling.

I spent formative years in the Everglades - like in canoe's in the back country.

Cruising through a mangrove tunnel watching for Gators, Crock's & the big ass snakes (those I liked btw) only to go face first through a banana spider's web - with that huge scary fucker in the middle of it (and now he's plastered to yer mug).

the recluse has been in new england for quite a few years now. i was bit in the armpit when i lived in georgia. not a fun time to say the least. i'm not wigged out by spiders at all though.
