Split Air question

Has anyone used one of these? Is there a better one? I will be using 10 - 600 watt lights at a time vertical. I was guessing around 20,000 btu will do the trick but I like to be prepared. Any suggestions?

I have installed a few of these , have not had any call backs for service, So tells me they are reliable. Pannasonic seems to make nice stuff ,they also make a real nice exhaust fan line ,I think called there quiet line ,nice quality stuff

if your only needing to cool 1 room, a single head unit would be better. you can get a 2 ton (24,000 btu) personally, I would go with a 3 ton(36,000btu)http://www.air-conditioner-system.com/productdetails.aspx?ProductID=1137&categoryID=134

the unit you posted has 4 heads
1-17,500 btu
3-9,000 btu
it needs a lot more copper and wire hook ups and is way more complicated to get charge correct.
More parts leads to more possible problems. IMHO

6kw uncooled lights? I would go a min. of three tons. That will still be pushing it as far as cooling capacity esp. if you are running during the day in my experience.

If your open hoods go with a 3 ton and you will be happy, if your air cooled and sealed up go with the 2 ton and you will be just fine. And def only get the one inside unit head if your in one rooms, 3 of the 9k btus sounds like a big waste for sure and it will cost you a ton more to get installed. I just had a 3 ton installed for 300 bucks, took the guy about 3 hours and it was done.
