spray-n-grow question

When using spray-n-grow, are you supposed to spray the leaves or the budsites? I have read both and was hoping to seek info from someone who actually uses the stuff. Also, how often do you spray the plant with spray-n-grow?

If you wanna foliar feed just follow a typical regimen, with every other watering at half strenght. Then adjust to you plants personal taste. Never spray your buds with anything ever at all....ever!! (I get anxious if it even rains too hard on mine because my buds are precious; call it over-protective parenting). Be sure to get the top and bottom side of the leaves. Be advised, foliar feeding is a recognized method but I've only seen and heard of foliar feeding suggeted to treat deficiency. Maybe some else can chime in.
