sprayed some clone for mites now poor growth I ck run off was 4.0 PLZ help

I sprayed green clean on some clones for safty measures as I found that one of the plants I took a clipping had mites any ways had a sprayer of green cleaner blasted the clones now couple doing bad they are in 4 inch pots I did a run off ph test came up 4.0 on one plant the rest was 6.8 I checked and rechecked same result with this one plant all others came out 6.8 .. I sprayed the dirt around the plant and assume this is where the drop came from .. How sould I recover form 4.0 I have on hand ph up, epson salt ,and tap water ph 8.0 o and dolomite lime dust . please let me know asap I need to correct this asap thanks

just continue watering that plant with tap water till the runoff PH raises.

like a little ea day or flood the pot till I get up to 6.5 .. that is the perfect ph is 6.5 right? and thanks

all at once. just like a flush. Its not good to water a plant every day

Thanks mike I watered and let empty and over and over till my run off was testing 6.5 then I watered once more with a mild nute I thank this will get me back on right track..

Testing the PH of runoff tells you nothing about your medium.

Well I wouldn't trust the person who told you that. Your plants aren't growing in the runoff. They are growing in the soil. The soil has buffers in it. Read up on it search the site. Or you can trust me. That's not what you want to do. If you really want to know the PH of your medium it will take a soil test. They sell meters for that and I'd recommend blulab. I know they aren't cheap BUT THEY ARE ACCURATE! Plus they come with a 5 year warranty. So the extra cost buys reliable data and piece of mind. I have both the combo meter for my nutes and the soil meter as well.

A friend gave me one but said the bulb had gotten dry and I need to replace the wire ?? you know where sells one ? or can I even get another . he said the bulb couldn't get wet ?

You can buy a replacement if it's a good one. Mine costs 75 bucks plus shipping. Google the make. But make sure the meter itself is worth using. If it doesn't work you'll have a probe but no meter. Then you'll be tied to buying that specific brand or returning the new probe. I wouldn't give my meter away unless it was broke! Even if I stopped growing I'd sell it instead.

Ok I need to buy a GOOD ph meter I bought the orange one not worth the 9.00 I paid says 7.0 no matter wat dirt I stick it in . needs to b less than 100.oo

Not sure you can get a reliable one for that little. I can tell you my blu lab works perfectly.

how can I make sure this one will work right before buying the wire ? I mean it comes on he said I would have a solution of 7.0 and I just calibrate it to 7.0 before using .

You probably can't tell if it is working. I was just warning you of that possibility. That's the risks you take with used gear. My philosophy is simple. I plan on doing this so I need what I need. I'll be watering plants for years. So when I buy things I think long term. The last thing I want to do is buy the cheap thing. Then wait for it to arrive. Then it not meet my expectations. Then I've pissed in the wind and wasted valuable time. Only to have to order the right thing anyway. Then wait for it to arrive. Needless to say pay double shipping! Feeding the plants properly is important enough to me to not do that. My meter gets calibrated with 2 solutions. 7.0 and 4.0. I've never used anything else. But I would imagine mine is going to be more accurate.
