Squeezing the stem

Ok so I've have always squeezed my stems until I hear them crunch but I don't know what it's call when it's done. For me it makes the stem very strong and is done only when flowering. Could someone help me out with this. Thanks

Your tearing the cellular walls and its forming like a scar tissue or bark and its much stronger than the regular stem. Also, should you be doing this past the first two weeks of flower? I thought it was something you do in veg state.

Yeah supercropping its a great thing to do i only do it in veg but some say its safe to do in flower give your stem a super highway for all the water and food to get reach your buds its the key in bigger buds me thinks

Super cropping? I will try to do it sooner. Evernote since I put my seedlings outside 2 days ago I'm seeing double the grow speed. I had them under 4 40 watt cfls but now I'm thinking the cfls could be bad... I never seen such slow growth from cfls

I've supercropped by accident and on purpose, it's handy when height is an issue or just to train the plant without tying. But my opinion is that it doesn't necessarily make bigger buds and it's more helpful to not stress or stunt the plant, so I don't supercrop for the most part.

If it helps with height then that's perfect for since I don't really like too much indica....I really go for the head high which is more sativa

I don't think its something you'd want to do in flowering. Just last night, I did it to some clones in veg and they have already bounced back haha, I'll have to tie them down.

thing is, some people say its bad to supercrop because it stresses the plant. other people say that supercropping is good because it fattens up the stem allowing for more water and food to pass through.

ALL supercropping does is injur the stem, strengthen the stem, and delay growth. This is helpful when plant height is a concern, or if you are trying to achieve an even canopy. It does not increase nutrient flow or have any magic properties.

Edit: you can supercrop the first couple weeks of flower if you are trying to control stretch.

I am a massive believer in super cropping this is the first green screen I have ever tried. I can't buy more space right now so you gotta do what you gotta do

Warning. Please be careful squeezing the stem. I did this and must have did it to hard cuz I have 2 open wounds on my stem now. It's growing great but there's a chance to get mold...just be careful
