Squirrel Fan and ducting

Ya hey

I need to duct my grow space. It has 4" exhaust ducting. I was looking at a 400 CFM Dayton Squirrel fan. Is there an easy adapter to make it work with the ducting. I've never worked with/seen a squirrel fan in person, so I'm just wondering if I can make it work (or just go with an in-line)...

Thanks

Yea they sell the adapter, the intake is 13 and the exhaust is 10 dollars, you might as well get a inline fan and a speedster control

How big is your growspace? do you realize how loud that fan is going to be the 400cfm? How many watts is your light?

Reliable sages on the boards have stated that a speedster is an overpriced rheostat [router speed controller] Available from harbor freight for $10, Speedster is what $30-$40? I am no electrician, Hell on a technicality I suppose everything i do is "Nigger Rigged", but i guess they both work the same way. They interrupt the current and turn it into an pulsing 120volt current instead of a constant one. The speed is regulated by adjusting the speed/timing of pulses, whereas a dimmer switch just reduces voltages [and starts fires if ya hook it to a fan] Heres a link, Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices
