Stanley blower

Was having some big heat issues ~90 and exhaust was a must, but on a budget. I picked up this stanley blower at walmart and man did this save my life 45$ and works like a charm (low power is all i need). i modded the unit to fit into some ducking and man is it awesome moves SO MUCH AIR its redic. When my intake is off and the blower is exhausting its sucking so much air that the intake puts in fresh air just bc of the blower pulling the air out, no more stress on my shitty inline fan. I highly recommend to anyone on a budget lookin for a good blower.

Post a link to it so we can see the specs and see what you are talking about. I use a 5" 252CFM fan for my exhaust and a 100cfm for an inlet and a small 3" 100 cfm fan that rotates just to blow on the plants to keep them cool.

its quiet as a mouse, doesnt make a noise even when on high. 3 levels and it pushes all day long, good built and durability. supposidly the cfm rating is 1280low, 1746 med and 2181 high. sounds a bit factory fabricated/not real cfms, but it has massive power ill post a pic soon

hey can you show a pic on how you modded this ? i am also on a budget. and either i was gonna buy a combo kit with a 4inline fan and carbon scrubber. or i was gonna save some bucks and mod the stanlely blower to suck from a scrubber. or is their a flaw in this idea.

I'm using the same setup, not the Stanley but basically the same model. If you take a 6" flange and secure that to the output side, run a bead of RTV and a couple sheet metal screws into the body and vent thru that it works great, input is a 4" flange secured to the front area. The girls are sleeping right now but I'll document a bit later. Once you set it up and think a little it becomes pretty clear. I use it to vent thru my HPS and blow out into the attic. Heres a crappy pic of the set up but it works good with the window air and scrubber I have no problems at all with 2 600's. Scrubber was kind of an after thought but it's basically a carbon a/c filter and 6" blower fan from some electronics parts house.

Sweet. I have a crawl space and im sure ill be venting into my attic or having it vent out somewhere. I did in previous grows but not with such technology as a diy scrubber or anything. So now im just trying to be safer with things ( just a 8in inline fan ). I was going to jus hook one up to a scrubber ( after building one ) . so i guess it will be pushing air through the scrubber rather than sucking,as to the scrubber will b outside my grow room. for ventilation issues. im going to try to have a budget of 80 bucks for a stanley fan and the materials for a scrubber or something.
