Does anyone have any experience with starting plants indoor then transferring them outdoor? My question is this.... If I start my plants indoor at 24hours, when I transfer them outdoors, will they automatically start to bud or will they catch the start of the long season and continue to veg, then bud.

Yes it is possible. If the summer solstice has passed (June 21) and the days are growing shorter they will begin to flower. What you are asking is a beneficial technique, starting seedlings indoors very early gives them a speed and size advantage. Make sure they are accustomed to the outdoors carefully. You want much shade in the beginning as they adapt to natural sunlight, burns or dry-outs can occur quickly in the hot sun.
