Ok so this is my first time growing in which you will probably be able to tell. I have no box or anything. I germinated the seeds and then put them in cups to start them off. They are about a inch tall and not even 1/16 inch wide. I was looking for some light to use at like home depot, target, etc, but wasnt sure what to get, Im looking for something not too expensive. As for a box, I was wondering if I had to use one at all, im in a small space so not too much room for the boxes that I have been seeing. Any help would be appreciated, Im really trying to get these things moving.

do some research, these questions have been answered time and time again, you want cheap lights? ok use compact flourescents or standard 4 footers, you really should put them in a grow box or closet you wanna keep your light in and goin to the plants and then when the lights go off you wanna keep other light out

I did search and people just show the box and lights and most of the times its a big overhead hanging light. Thanks for your help though chopper, I would use a box but there is no way that I can make one, can I buy one somewhere?

brains , use some 42watt cfls in the 6500k spectrum to veg (grow) and when your ready to flower use 42watt 2700k . i use 3-4 per plant depending on size. the bigger it gets the more light it will need . a box would be great but is not a must .hope this helps

just chuck a few normal household bulbs under them for now about 5" way from the plants and keep tempratures 22-28.

also try and buy some of the (6500k) bulbs a few hundred wats of them should do ur plants very good for vegtation stage then get a few hundered watts of 2700k daylight spectum bulbs for flowering.

keep ur ph around 5-6 and keep the soil moist but dnt overwater them and gl
