Ok i am a noob here with some questions, i am about to start my first grow :D my female white widow seeds are on there way. I plan on growing it outside back in this forest area by my house cause i still live with my parents :/ So i was wondering if i should just straight up plant my seeds in the natural ground, or use pots with soil. If i should do the potting way is this soil a good kind to chose? cause my mom is into the whole gardening thing and she already has a bag of this so i thought i could just take a few cup fulls of this and be good, but i am not 100%
so your help and tips are appreciated :)

welcome to the forums =)

Miracle Grow soil has time-released nitrogen in it that can be harmful to young mj plants if overwatered. MG is formulated for houseplants/lfowers with strong root systems. Your best bet is to start with organic-based soil. Some growers use MG with good results but it's not for seedlings. Germinate your seeds in a paper towel then plant them in 1-2 gallon pots, or you can dig a hole in the ground and fill it with your soil/medium then plant them directly in the ground.

if you can start them in a cup of soil. ( better servial rate ) and if you got the time while their growing in the cups go out in the woods and dig some hole about a 3-4 foot deep and one foot wide then refill with good fertilizer make sure you space them out ( not in an obvoise pattern where if seen from above could be recondnized ) just spred them out randomly. afterwards transplant from your cups to your new grow site! use some 7dust or something to that effect for the incects!watch your daily wather report for when it rains and water them when need be! peace out bro

to be honest with you their are some guys on here that dont agree with m.grow but i dont have a problem with it wal-mart and lows are about 10 min from house and their directly across the street from each other so i go to wal-mart to get my m.grow and my 7-dust i went to lowes to get post hole diggers for about 20 bucks to dig my hole ( a hell of a lot easyier then useing a shouvel ) but let your plants grow a little bit in those cup for about 2-3 weeks befor you tranplant into your new holes! ( wal-mart is cheaper then lowes ) peace out bro

id make the hole all soil that way your roots will be getting srtong and healthy cuz you need them as strong as they can be for when the do work their way through the soil and start workin on the regurly part of the ground then your roots will already have a good strong root system to work with to push through any toughnes their might be! be cool man!!:peace:

100 yards isn't very far, I'd say yes they might be able to smell it but not until its in full bloom.

just plant some flowers around the house like lavender or something. 100yds is fine if you think about 1 yrd is 3feet so you plants will be 300ft. away from your folks! plus the fact that your just startin your grow and its already july means your not going to have the most masive plants in the world!! things should work out alright!! peace out
