Is there a pruning technique to create more leaves? My plant's leaves are spaced far apart and there's only a few of them. I'm hoping there's a way to start more leaves so my plant will suck up more light. Any advice?
You should look at the 101 asked questions post in this forum. FIMming and Topping are the methods, but if your nodes are spaced out and the plant is lanky it might be stretching for more light. What kind of grow?
as long as you are providing enough light, and other good environmental variables, just have patience, and she will grow new nodes. You shouldn't do FIMming or topping on too young a plant either.
Edit: post not actually that relevant.
I topped on the 6th node, not counting the cotyledons or first set of leaves. Two big main colas, some bushy under growth with small buds... maybe I should have topped sooner.
