Bag seeds to learn how to grow..

1. 24 Hours after soaking I took the seeds (about 6-10 seeds) and soiled them into a cut out plastic bottle. Used a empty butter container to catch any drainage from the plastic bottle.

2. Everything is placed into a 2 Gallon fish tank with a lid and lighting of course. No idea the wattage but I'm sure it'll do fine for now..

3. Been 2 days since the plantation. 20hrs of lighting/5 Darkness.

4. This is what I have so far...

5. What next??...and what am I don't wrong or right?

(hate on me if you want, I'm still new to this. I know you would tell me to read some more..but every reader guide I've come across are so damn crappy and require too much equipment and $$. I don't want to grow strong strains or anything crazy, keep in mind I just want to experiment in resulting of some decent quality buds that are a whole bit more potent than shwag:hump:..thanks)

i have a book recommendation for you:
How to grow marijuana - See More Buds - video DVD reviews (Grow 8 oz of marijuana for $50

dude that wrote it is a mod on this forum. uses CFL lighting (very cheap) and gets some awesome bud. i think it is available at Barnes & Noble or Borders (or something like that) or online of course.

In the meanwhile - get yourself a CFL or two (those are the lights that are spirally) - you can get these just about anywhere (walmart/home depot, etc..)

Keep your lights within inches of the tops of the plants - don't over water and set your timer to a 24 hour a day light cycle to keep with the circadian rhythm of the plant (either 24/0, 20/4 or 18/6 - i recommend 24/0 but to each their own).

but seriously - get that book and read it. it uses very cheap stuff that you can get just about anywhere (Miracle Grow soil and CFL lighting) you will also need a pH test kit cause that is important too - but the book has all the info you need. and if you have questions - we'll be here.

and brian2 pointed out - get them in separate pots.
frankly, i wish that book was available when i first started growing.
