Starting seedlings....questions

I am starting a hydro grow and have a couple of questions I’m sure you guys would be able to help me with.

I’ve got my seeds and I’m going to germinate them in a wet paper towel. Then I’m gonna throw them in a rapid rooter tray. I’m going to add a humidome and throw the whole thing on some temp. controlled heat mats.

My questions are…

- Should I put the rapid rooter try inside another flat tray so that watering is easier?
- How much and how often should I water for the first couple weeks?
- Should I leave the lights on for 20 or 24 hours?
- To root everything should I use my 400w MH or set of 4 fluorescent grow bulbs?
- When should I transplant into my hydro system? 2 weeks in?

My plan was to put the seeds under the T5 Fluorescent bulbs for 2 weeks and then toss ‘em under my MH for a week before flowering. Does anyone see anything wrong with this?

Your plan sounds right

I would put them in another try for watering issues pluss no mess.

Keep lights on for 24 hours none stop

Keep them moist but not soaked.

And transplant them when you think there ready or when they have a good root base and the plant looks nice and stable

Just keep an eye on them and record what you see.
