Starting small and Staying simple

So after a few complications and a long hiatus I've decided to taken up growing as a hobby again -- not in it for the smoke really. Anywho I'm seeing what I can manage with 100 watts (not currently) in a small grow cab. Heres a week in on 45 watts

Move your lights closer and when you replant burry the stem a little

Yeah I moved the lights closer after the 3'rd day but the stretching had already developed so not much I can do now besides burry the stems a bit. I'm definitely not too worried about for the time being. I'm planning on going a LST route and also flowering between the 3-4 week. Just kinda wanna see what I can manage. Beats growing strawberries and tomatoes for sure

your gonna want to invest in a mh/hps light atleast... anything less and its a waste imo. especially 100 watt of cfl.

Soil is Fox farms tossed with perlite and miracle grow (Wasn't the one who mixed it but a local grower swore by it).
I could care less for the yield which if it amounts to anything over an eigth I'd be suprised as seeing that almost matches the watts/yield ratio that I got running my old 600 watt HPS but then again it was shit in terms of the condition it was in. And i can gurantee you there isn't a thread around here I haven't read if it's anywhere over a year old so links aren't necessary but thank you. I'm not new to growing and I understand my way around a garden with the only exceptions of heat stress and humidity (grow cabs are definitely not my cup of tea) control as that was never a problem in a grow tent ( at least for me). This grow is a relearning process if anything. As for the seeds I got them from a mate of mine and they're Cheese x AK47, I'd prefer you to ask a simple question before you decide to guess my whole life.
Sorry if I'm coming off as a defensive twat , that I am. The reasons I left growing isn't exactly dinner table conversation so I'll leave it at that.
That being said let's see what an old timer (hardly) like me can manage with a shit setup for the time being.

Maybe op just enjoys growing plants, and likes weed more than strawberries, potatoes or roses. Why not, they're forgiving, can be bonzai'd, trained....generally played with.
Why not just have fun with a grow? I imagine it will be stress free as the final weight isn't of particular concern.
Most people's priorities would be different for a grow, but I don't see anything wrong with this at all.

100 watts is good for veg. yes get a hps/mh light to flower them.

People dont just do stuff im sure there's a reason and I rhink we should just help without asking questions lol im eating dinner cant talk. I am not spending 3-4 months on anything I cant smoke in the end. As stated 100 works for vegging, You will need another 200 watts of cfl's to flower effectively.

it would make more sense to do it on a window sill than use a 100w bulb. ...im not sure what type of fun or love of growing that is....unless you like being cruel to plants!

I appreciate the output everybody. The final weight is the least of my concern -- I've still got 6 months left of probation so I definitely don't plan on smoking any. I do plan on investing in a new 1000 watt MH/HPS around my 3'rd month and starting up an actual grow as that'll supply me with some quality smoke for a bit and it'll be just a tad bit more special imo.
For the time being though I'm just trying to veg them out and mess around a bit while I try and get a job (try getting a job as a "Felon" ).
