once when i was with my dad we bought 58 bucks worth of tickets, and got 56 back

Won $250 and a couple of $50's on some $3 tickets. I'm off and on with my addiction to them, lol.

I know a women that works just to play those things. Seriously all of the money she makes goes to those tickets. She also lives like a crazy cat lady and is a multimillionaire (but lives like a slumdog). Seriously those scratch and wins are like crack to some people. I avoid them.

ditto hear m8.. if it weren't for bad luck, i'd have none at all.. i think that is a good thing really, i'm addictive enough now.. my ex's dad once won like 30k down the casino, and then spent the next 15 years blowing every paycheck he got trying to win again..
i may buy one or two tix when i buy a carton of smokes every now and again.. if i win over ten bucks, i'll take the money, if not, i'll just blow it on more tix.. have never won more than $20.. but i am glad though, as i am sure if i won bucket loads, i would be buying bucket loads of tix trying to win more bucket loads of cash.. its a viscious circle really....

I worked with a guy and we'd go get lunch everyday at this little store,,,everyday he'd blow like 10 bucks at least. I thought to myself this guy's got problems, he even bought and scratched before work, I never got any.
Now I don't work there anymore and here I am buying them like a junkie with 20 invested I hit 50 bucks now I keep buying them but only playing with the 20. and I keep getting like 2 3 or 5, so I find myself alway's turning in tickets for more I wan't 15,000 at least on a 2 dollar ticket I'm addicted, lol.

Jesus, I couldn't count the money I've wasted on those things. A few good ones here and there,overall it's nothing but a money pit.

Those power ball tickets are very evil I know people who drive all the way to jersey to play there's because there's more winnings.

You're probably right.. cause if I woulda won a few times I would probably still be wasting my money on those things. So I guess it is kind of a good thing to have bad luck on those scratch tickets.

Well,,,I've been doing good I throw a few here and there,,somehow I keep making my money back. Well I make quite a bit more money now,,,New job, Yea, so I thought I'd splurge on a 5 dollar ticket, I won 10 Yea,,,lol.
I have an addictive but controllable personality. I Love vegas, just don't have time to go as often as I'd like.

When we first got scratchers in our state I would buy $20 worth of the $2 tickets and very often won it back plus a few more bucks. I quickly learned that theres is only so many winners in a book of tickets at a particular vendor so I started taking those winning tickets somewhere else to cash in and get more tickets. I was consistently making my money back plus some. I eventually hit a $500 winner(this was about 4 weeks into it) and I banked $400 of it and kept the hundred for buying more scratchers. I would start with $20 on Monday and play that out until it was gone. If it did die out then I would wait until the following Monday and do it again. The thing is I that $20 was converting into about $60 per week. Along the way I hit $500 one more time and $50 3 times and countless $20 and $10 winners. But the streak eventually ended and for every $20 bought I'd only get maybe $4 back if I were lucky. Since I was ahead of the curve compared to other people I would talk to I knew my method was somewhat sound. I think my bad streak was a result of the Lotto Commision setting up those first 3 or 4 months of play with a lot of winners to get people hooked on buying them and then started to tighten them up with fewer winners. That was when I decided that ship had sailed. I was bummed to not have won one of the big $20,000 plus games. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Hey Peach you in the Chi? Isnt that Power Ball 43 states?, pheww odds must be crazy. I play that one "Win for Life" Imagine that winning $50,000 a year for life till the day ya dead. Thats what keeps me going playing here n there. Most I won was $50 off the $2, that was a good day.

If you turn the ticket around you will see the odds. the win for life says 1 in 4 win, i bought 4 and didnt win
