STEALTH 400 Watt Cab, Many See it, Nobody Knows

Ok,

Thought I'd share some good photos of my home made grow cab. I've done several modifications over the last nine months to get it where it is now and I'm very happy with the performance and output.

When people see it, nobody ever thinks I'm growing in it, and the few people I show, jawdrop that they didn't notice it before. It's great when chicks spend the night, because I don't want every(or any) skank I stick my dick in to know I'm growing weed. Anyway.... on with the show:

Here we have it! What you're seeing is actually two top halfs taken from two armoires, stacked and joined together.

I know you want me to open it, but not yet. Here's some closeups of the doors and I added the locks for extra security...make sure no 'friends' stumble on it and help themselves to a 7 week old bud and any other curious folks. You'll also notice the seal I used in the cracks, its a great foam, flexible, self adhesive.

Here's the doors opened, sorry about the light problem, but she's running full speed in this pic and we'll look at some close-ups of the inner workings.

Ok, this first pic is taken squating down, looking up into the upper area. Cool air comes in on the right, gets pulled out of the hood with the cetrifuge fan and pushed out the back again. The flanges on the fan are 4" but I didn't have enough room for a reducer fitting, so I have to tape the 6" ducting directly on the fan without any clamps...works ok, have to swap out for fresh tape every few months.

The carbon filter was just recently moved up top to catch the heat. It's behind the hood. Oddly, by design it pulls the hot air down and out, contrary to where heat likes to travel, but the strength of the fan more than compensates.

This is the left side of the top where the air exits, it was a lot of work getting it all to fit, even in this spacious cabinet. A clamp loosely holds ducting out of the way, clamp is mounted to the sidewall.

I also plan on replacing this little fan on the right with something that rotates, but about the same size, just a little breeze. Temps look good, too.

Looking down into the cabinet, you see the fan that pulls filtered air out of the grow area and out the back. The shelving is also adjustable, since I can't move the light.

And on the bottom you have the lower ducting, power strip surge protector and the dual outlet timer. Both cords for the ballast come into the cab, and only one outlet leaves the cab and powers everything.
