Stealth box query

So im looking to create a little stealth veg box, somewhere i can germinate and grow on seeds for a few weeks before they go into the main tent. Will it need a mh that i currently use or can i get away with using a cfl. also what are these little cpu fans that people use and can i buy them to run of mains??

PC fans run on 12 volts DC.

80 wats of daylight CFL will hold them until you're ready to plant. With that you'll only need an up draft going through the box for venting. The one that I've been playing with has suceeded in one clone (out of one) from the first FIM, done in an extra large bleach jug with the top cut off and replaced with a piece of poly held with a shoe lace and a bunch of 1/4" holes in the bottom and a one in hole towards the bottom for air. I alway set my clones on a layer of rock.

These are pretty good USB powered Fans..pretty cheap on FleaBay(Though you will need a USB Plug Adaptor)

Anything from 30w(True) CFL will be fine for seedlings and Clones....

2x 30w CFL 1x 2700k and 1x 5600k would do you great(for beginning stage)and a lot of growers mix the colours/spectrums...And before anyone jumps off about colours and spectrums and watts and Par and Lumens...Etc...Leave it out!! K.I.S.S.

CFL's do need to be close to the ladies...but not too close in the first week...say about 6-7" away..but after a few days or week you can lower to say 2"-3" use your hand at the tops of Ladies, if hand gets Hot! then so are you Girls..
