Stems thining and killing all new growth. What is this? fungus? cold? (+ REP)

The small branches on my liberty haze plant have started to thin and then starve off the growth above it. When this happens a sticky orange fluid can be seen on the stem where it starts to thin and then a few days later the whole branch needs taking off.

600w SCROG
DWC
Ionic Bloom Nutes

Its has been cold the last few days/nights and i noticed some of my leaves have gone purple, could this have anything to do with it?

I also have a OG kush plant next to it that shares the res and has not been affected at all.

+ rep for any ideas?

Oh God- looks like Pythium or Fusarium wilt----- If it is... there are few options (like the man said- full-plant photo will help!)

If it is a disease- Get some 3-in-1 spray that is organic and says it can be used on berries... otherwise, you have to kill and burn them... or put outside In the trash at best. Do not compost or leave near other plants or it'll spread.

Check the humidity and temps of the room- and your air intake... must be warm enough & not too humid, and if bringing-in outdoor air- make sure there is a good filter on it.
Take everything out of the room... spray all uninfected plants. Wash everything in the room down with bleach water-- walls, floors, ceiling, fixtures- everything.

Check your soil... if store-bought, take it back and get something else- tell them you were starting seedlings for your garden in a greenhouse and the soil is infected & killed all your peppers and tomatoes!

Hope for the best-- that is a greenhouse owners nightmare.... it spreads fast and takes a lot of work (and losses) to eradicate.

Ya..get other plants away and treat them as if they have it. If its fusarium everything has to be sterilized.

like 3C not cold enough to actually freeze the plant, ive bought a res heater to stop it gettin that cold again thinking that was the problem, but the sticky orange stuff has made me rethink its a pathogen :/.

There is a way to tell if it is a disease-- take a decent sized cutting-- and look at :(the cut end. If there is a dark or red/orange ring inside the stem, it is infected. :( I'll keep My fingers crossed for you that it's NOT!

Thanks guys for your help +rep all round.

I reluctantly cut the whole thing down and found it was far worse than i thought. I probably saved 1oz out of the 15oz i should have got....

I am devastated :(. Looks like ima have to sterilize and restart

Sorry, brother. The last pics you put up showed it a lost cause but people seem to not like being told that. You'll do better next time. Bleach 1:10 with water. Kills AIDS virus so it will end any microbial life it contacts. Everything. Including light fixtures, walls, everything you can make contact with using a cloth dampened with the bleach water. If carpeted then choose growing in another room as carpeting can harbor anything.

Hey seriously - it looked like you had them growing quite well before disaster. You'll do even better this next time.
