Stepping Up To Deep Water Cultivation

Hey blessings to all. I'veordered a DWC bubbler. It has basic necessities. You know like, pump, an airstone, a few rockwool cubes, and some silica media. The bubbler itself with a 6inch net pot. Now I know just by instinct and observation, thats not going to cut it... So I put in also for a eco pump at 18w 793 GPH I believe... and its a one line but I have a four way valve coming as well. Also an 8inch flat circle air stone plus the one that comes with the bubbler, that I'll be using. And a consecutive bucket for weekly cleaning. Is there anything that you intelligent DWC growers can help me with as far as how to become that guy who grow good dro? I'm hoping for some guidance. Remember when you guys got started?! Am I missing anything? Also I have a TDS meter coming too. I have everything else from soil growing. But I don't want to really use anything that I don't need to use from my soil growing hand. You know what I mean?! I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks in adavance.

You are going with how many buckets? That manifold will give you an idea of the output. The smaller pump you have coming will cover one bucket.

Screw rockwool unless you are a real fan. Check out rooting plugs to start seeds. You say TDS meter. Is there a provision for testing PPM on it as well? And pH? Test drops and paper work just fine for pH.

I'll just be running one 5 gallon for right now to get familiar with it. So is seems as if the pic I posted may Not be powerful enough?
