stinkbud, but vertical

After a couple of months of researching, I think I’m just about ready to start my next grow. I might be biting off a little more than I can chew, but I’m going to try a combination of Stinkbuds aero setup, heath Robinsons flooded tube vertical and green bastards vertical soil grow. The grow will be a three tiered vertical aeroponic grow with a separate reservoir for each level. The reservoirs will be stacked on shelves on top of each other so that I can use 3 little 398gph pumps instead of one gigantic pump that has to supply 60 sprayers and pump 8’ vertically. Each level will be slightly slanted to allow drainage back into the levels reservoir… just like stinkbuds but not straight. I’ll be borrowing stinkbuds basic ideas, but I will be using heath’s vertical configuration in an eight foot diameter 7 sided pvc octagon shape. The missing side will be where the door is located. (see pic) I just have a few concerns before I head to my local hydro shop….
1. At eight feet in diameter and seven feet high, can I get away with 3 600w digitals instead of two 1000w magnetics? I’ve read that digital 1000’s were questionable and used 750w components. The 1000w magnetics seem terribly inefficient compared to 600w digi’s. And a bunch more heat. I’m afraid the 600’s wont penetrate far enough.
2. I think the 4” PVC will be too cramped for plants vegged 3 weeks in aero. I was originally going to use 6” but it’s a fortune for all those 6” 45 degree bends. Should I veg 3 weeks anyway so that I can skip keeping mothers? Or should I do a whole bunch of little guys 12/12 as soon as they’re rooted?

Eight foot seems a little big for 600's. Guys with 6' diameter column grows are using 2-1000's. 4' diameters use 600's. I am doing a vertical grow like heaths (but simpler) in a 4x5 closet using two 600's. As far as using 4" drain pipe to grow in, no problem. I'm doing a six plant grow right now that vegged for a month. Pics are at 4th week of flowering. The stems are huge. . . approaching the size of toilet paper tube.

Thanks a ton for the info. I'm thinking i'll do the two 1000's and i'll knock the diameter down to about 7'. the plants will not be completely vertical, but rather pitched inwards like heaths, so i want to make sure i can still squeeze in there.

By the way, i really dig your setup. How's the maintenance on the vertcal scrog? That seems like the best way to maximize light dispersion to the buds. And the DIY cannabis cage looks pretty sweet too. I was thinking about doing something like that but i couldn't figure out how to join all the net pot sites at 45 degree angles like that. I'd love to see your grow journal when you get it started.
