Stinkbudd1's "Papayabluelicious" grow and strain creation!

First of all welcome to everyone out there in RIU land and Happy Holiday Season to you all..lets get started...

Hello all and welcome to what is my constanly changing grow journal ive decided to take a different approach to this simply because im a rebel.lol ok so here is what changed ive just today ordered a 12 pack of seeds from my favorite single bean bank and they are as follows: 4x blue mystic reg/4x papaya reg/and 4x bubblicious reg. As you know ive already germed and sprouted 2x NL x Haze and 2x skunk #1 so here's the plan my friends im going to try and create my own strain, now dont panic ive done a lot of research over the last 2 months to hopefully achieve this new challange, but just in case i will be cloning from each of the 3 newly purchased beans and growing them in a seperate chamber from my other experiment..ok so my plan is to pollinate my blue mystic and my bubblicious with a male papaya and attemp to get some sick ass beans down the road all three of these strains i love and they all have very light odor problems and i can keep them relatively to my height i want im tired of purchacing seeds and if i pull this off ill have plenty of hopefully dank beans..so if you havent been on board to date then grab a chair and help me get through this..all wisdom is greatly appreciated all garbage simply not welcome there is lots of knowledge out there so help when you can and watch when you want...my beans should be here next week...peace pot prosperity...

Ok so all beans are germed potted and spouted with the exception of one darn bubbleicious i will be vegging for about six weeks under my cfl set up @18-6 on/off im still useing MG organic simply because im use to it now and believe i have a hold on it.no nutes will be used for the first month of growth for the last two weeks or so ill be using the new cutting edge solution nutrients and super thrive..once i get to flwering ill be using the same brand but obviously bloom nutes ill be using mollasses and some sweet grape during the flowering cycle..And my light will change to my new baby 400 watt cooltube hps / mh unit "e-bay" 199.00 +19.00 shipping no tax electronic ballast very nice fort he price..as you can see my grow cab is my combo plasms tv stand /grow room DIY i made thanks to home depot lowes and your friendly nieghborhood walmart lol but it loks great and works well.2x3x4 i have a 120 cfm exaust inline fan and passive intake for the cab area 6" circulating fan for the plants and air movement.. my cooltube will be cooled using a 6" 180 cfm inline fan with fresh air coming in from my window by way of 1 1/2 foot duct run simple but effective..so there you have it..Im open to any feed back and comments as well as ideas im not a pro and im not stuck on stupid so all ideas will be taken into account..peace pot prosperity..

by the way im still waiting on my panda film i stripped out my mylar i just dont like it much id rathing the bright white background and more sturdy than mylar to me..should be here shortly..ppp

but damm 30 views and no one has any comments or concerns? thats not the RUI i know...ppp

got in today and had to rearrange my cab the two oddball plants in there are growing crazy fast they are about 1 1/2 weeks ahead of the others the skunk and nl haze i started them first becouse they are longer flowering than the others but they all look good and healthy so far so good..get some pic's up when the real growth starts...ppp

all is well and the babies are now starting to get som size on them the nlx haze and skunk are about 1 1/2 weeks older so thats the reason for the size difference they are my backup plan to have some good smoke just in case my lil experience goes haywire..so here are some pics not of them alll got to get batteries for the new cam..peace pot prosperity..

hey nice to here from someone interested in this grow and strain cross journal and thanks for the confidence needed it as for the seeds i ordered from nirvana and yes they ship to usa and are very reliable and fast as well as low key so try them out..hope to have you along for the ride also..thanks peace pot prosperity.

has anyone ever used a two fan set up ro a cooltube ? i have one inline fan bringing cool air from my window to through the cooltube and another on the back side of the cooltube pulling the hot air out to exaust all total 160 cfm's fo air movement through the tube will this be effective for a 400 watt hps? anyone thanks ppp

hello all i decided to start my largest babies on nutes a few days ago and they responded very well so ao my next scheduled feed day im going to let it rip 1/4 strenght for all of them.had to top the nl x hze and the skunk #1 growing like wild flowers..need to keep them under 3 feet...

man those leafs are long and skinny,looks like a sativa.hey do you use a scrubber,wouldnt grow without one lol.. looks like your well on your way,i have like 3 or 4 weeks before my seeds are done .blue mystic x ak47, bm x big bud ,and of course bm x bm.should make for some good crosses ..good luck ill be watching this thread closely.

hey thanks a lot your the type of person that is really needed for this kind of grow and strain creation man i dont profess to be a pro so i need all the help i can get as they say im a jack of all trades yet a master of none so thanks for coming aboard and good luck with yours as well dont forget to give those puppies a bad ass name im sure they will live up to it..heres a pic of what will be my pollinating chamber in a seperate room from my main growing area...peace pot prosperity.. will you have a journal?

what are your thoughts on papaya?? i have 4 plants in week 4 of flower.... when do people usually chop them>?

you can actually just take some sort of piece of material around the base of the male plant, sort or a tray wider than the widest part of the canopy..i suggest it being black due to the fact that you can see the pollen on it easy... you can also shake the branches over it as well and collect the pollen and store it in a jar.. this way you can keep the male in another room and only pollinate a few branches as apposed to seeds the whole way through... either way works.. if u want a ton of seeds let the male go crazy.. if you want to get a good amount of seeds and some fire bud then thats a good option too..... could go old school and get a bunch of bees lol or butterflies... thats the natural way.... lol best of luck

this is my first time trying it personally smoked it very good my friebd has harvested his at times @9weeks some @8weeks from what he tells me so it depends on your high your looking for i guess...ppp

hey thanks for the insight really appreciated that i was actually just reading something on that same idea and i think thats the way ill go because id hate to lose out on two plants just for seeds maybe pollen the bottom portion of the plant and then have the main cola and some mid range stragelers to harvest..thanx ppp

Hey i know ive been giving the ole lady a lil grief lately but the ole girl came through for me this time maybe its the near ounce of blue mystic i just harvested and gave her..i got my new camera today along with my other package heres your view of my box not a bad deal all total 278.00 including shipping..400 watt digital cooltube hps/mh complete setup/ carbon filter / panda film/ 6" to 4" reducer x2..not a bad kit for the money..peace pot prosperity

if you just have a small grow man, why dont you just seed the whole bunch and dont worry about it.i mean i never minded picking a few seeds out lol..if thats what your after is just some new seeds then go for it .

i think i let mine go for 10 weeks ,nice daytime smoke .cant realy recall the taste though. must be why i didnt keep her .lol...

yeah i get the logic but man im old school though i grew up smokin the real humbult sticky stank ass skunk in my teens and the real thai bud i dont want seeds in my bud not the bud for smokin i have 8 plants more than enough to do the two crosses and still have maybe three to grow straight out for smokin..but thanks anyway,,ppp
