Why are so many people posting questions in this forum? This is supposed to be for smoke reports only and now it's getting all buckled. Cmon guys read the rules! Call these guys out if they post a question so this section will be full of nothing but reports and not all these stupid questions that could easily be answered with a google search. :cuss:

Am I alone here guys? Isn't anyone else a little peeved this section is getting swarmed with questions that could be answered with a simple search?

Having said that, this post will further clutter the section.

Also, most of these "smoke reports" are just people describing some bag their deal told them was thunder kush or some shit.
I'd love to see some more proper smoke/grow reports written by the people who have actually grown the strains in question, or at very least who know what they're smoking.
Descriptive language helps, so do pictures.
I swear, only about 25% of the people who frequent this site actually contribute in any tangible way, the other 75% are busy asking how their 3 day old seedlings look and giving poor(somtimes outright terrible) advice to even less knowledgable growers.
I wish there was some sort of competancy exam that you had to take before using this forum.

Now i'm getting all worked up.

Thankyou! I was getting fed up of searching through pages of questions that should be posted elsewhere. I like the idea of a Smoke Reports section that is full of only Smoke Reports haha

**Ok, this isn't a smoke report reply, I'm just replying to SpruceZues' comment.

I wish those 25% experts would answer questions more often then. I've seen questions in the Newbie section with ZERO replies and like 70 READ. A couple of years ago, I struggled through my first grow with minimal help and replies to my questions. And when the questions were answered, there's usually a nice dose of sarcasim and smart ass remarks mixed in, so I just stopped posting questions and learned by trial and error. You don't soon forget the sting of humiliation when there are ZERO replies and 70 READ to your Newbie posts. Some people even plead for a reply to their question.

There's no such thing as a dumb question, we were all Newbies once.

i to love the idea of this section but havent seen much yet. tell you what when ive more time ill put my last two crops into a smoke report in a formal format for those who want to see it done as it should be (well i try :D)

I'd say the title says it all... I'm bitching :fire:

So I guess what I'm saying is... sorry if I'm bitching but if other people post without reading the rules, then don't blame me for 1 post pointing it out lol.

No matter, I'm almost done creating a portal right now with a small group of developers. It will be a strictly "smoke report" website.

We will have a form you fill out with all pertinent information to the report. Then you will be able to search the reports by "type of high", "taste", "smell", "breeder", "high duration", etc.

Fun stuff coming guys.....:leaf:

OP, I agree with you. I saw the section "smoke reports" and thought "oh awesome! a whole section solely for reviewing how good a homegrown strain is!" And to my dismay most of the threads are not smoke reports. I think it is pretty hard to not realize what this section is for; if someone posts a non smoke report (besides this thread haha) it is because they did not read the two words they clicked on: "SMOKE REPORTS"

I can understand the odd cock up by a user who asks a question, but it would be awesome to have a long list full of smoke reports of different strains. I think its up to the mods to either move or delete the posts that arnt topic related :) my 2c

Uhmmmmm Did you just post something about ppl asking questions in the wrong section and you yourself asked a question in the same forum, lol you must be baked.
