The fact that Israel is talking about this probably does mean it isn't going to do it right now, BUT historically speaking, Israel has taken out rogue Middle East nuclear facilities not once, but twice already. The US is moving troops in Afghanistan to the border region where Afghanistan and Pakistan and Iran Meet. Moving troops in Iraq to the border of Iran. BTW wikipedia is NOT a credible source sorry man those facts may be correct but wikipedia IS NOT A CREDIBLE SOURCE. Did everyone really think they would bring back 100,000+ troops with no jobs?
wikipedia is one of the best sources out there.
you have to go down and read the articles cited though. you can't just read the stuff on wiki and take it as true.

iran has an in house military industrial complex shrouded in mystery. they make their own tanks, jets, and rockets.
they have unmanned drones and they have North Korea as an ally (north korea manufactures long range rockets, not intercontinental as of yet but def. capable of reaching israel from Iran).....
there's no doubt israel and the US can crush the Iranian military, not before there's some serious damage to the region....

It's not that shrouded, we know pretty much what their capabilities are because damn near everything they have is 3rd party - and we know what it is, and who gave it to them.
The S-300 system would have been disastrous, but luckily the Russians aren't that stupid (the Chinese are, however).
As for their drones, they have a LONG way to go as far as getting it of actual operational value. Countries like Iran, China, N. Korea they all have to boast really loudly about minor accomplishments. I wouldn't worry too much. Just because they build a drone and can fly it in their own country is one thing, operating it in a tactical setting is another entirely.
The most effective way that Iran has to even touch Israel is Hamas, but that puts civilians at risk - not Iranians.

the way i see it...if Israel makes these stupid ass comments about attacking Iran...WHEN THEIR LEADER WAS JUST OVERTHROWN...I don't get the point in the threats...at all...seriously...did the Israeli leadership just sit down and say "Oh hey guys...remember how we don't like Iran? They don't have a leader in place at the moment lets threaten to attack them...that'll make us look awesome man!"...

not much is given to iran since they've been under crushing economic sanctions for a good part of the last 15+ years.....

There's been a pretty consistent theme of ignoring those sanctions, even by the Israelis, especially by the Chinese and Russians.
They don't really have that great of capabilities. They can manufacture arms, etc...but not at rates that would make them competitive in an all-out confrontation.

No, not any university or college will allow wikipedia as a resource for any work. I can enter my own facts, and that alone is why wikipedia isn't reliable. Sometimes it's right and sometimes its wrong. But there are many things on wikipedia that are proven to be wrong or out right lies. Good facts found on Isreal, just saying wikipedia should be taken with a grain of salt.

you go down to the sources part and read those. and for sources, unless you have access to proquest or other of the huge scholarly databases, those sources at the bottom of wikipedia are good enough.
not any university or college will allow wikipedia, technically a college or university won't allow ANY resource unless it's correctly cited. you're not the only one that went to college....lol

Actually, it is a big reason why they can't.
This is another reprecussion of the US pullout and transfer of airfields back to the Iraqis. And I doubt that the Azeri's are going to let them use their space...
It's all a game of checks and balances.
