Stopping stretch in a plant....any thoughts.

Years ago I used Dr Nodes. Then it became some other name I think.
It seemed to work. I haven't used that in a while now. I really don't need any more bud site...just some slow down on stretch.
Yes I know moving them to a different light spot can help. Not always possible for me anyway.
Any ideas on slowing the stretch down? Sometimes that would be nice.
I don't mean simply trimming them or bending them. That's pretty obvious.
I mean some product that slows or stops stretch.

The best safe way to reduce stretch is more light

I grow in small cabs and micro cabs for the last 12+ yrs. Slowing the stretch is crucial for me. Best way that I have found over the years is to plan a transplant for around 12/14 days of 12/12. People will tell you not to transplant at this time but they would be wrong. I do it 30x a year with no problem. Gotta go right into the same mix it is coming from. Also transplant wet. Treat it as if you were flushing salts, basically. Waste no time getting it from one container to the next. Saturate new medium right after.

Well if you don't care there is Cyocel or paclobutrazol/alar based ones Bonzai, Dr Nodes (Dr No) Flower Dragon etc.... You can try giving them MKP early to start the flowering faster which will stop some of their stretch.

Keep your day/night temps within a few degrees really helps, the more variance, the more stretch also having some blue light (4000k)keeps the stretch to a minimum..some cultivars (Sativa’s)
stretch into week 5 of flower...I am about to find out as I have some almost pure NLD ( narrow leaf drug) up next.

I run my MH lights until stretch is over then switch to super HPS.

I also feed some Big Bud, 0-15-35, a week before I flip to get the buds started ASAP so it's like @AquaTerra mentioned about giving them MKP early.

Doing a proper ScroG and keep tying down grow tips until stretch is done has to be the best way to keep a nice even canopy and increase your yields. Putting a screen in to keep tops from falling over is NOT a ScroG and most people do that wrong too. :)

part of having a good environment..most people miss...but most assume would be part of the grow, if grown correctly..
still comes down to genetics if the growing environment if bang on. ;)

Sativas can be out right beasts lol that most people NEVER Finnish

Paclobutrazol, chlorequmat chloride, daminozide. If used during the first week of flower you will have no stretch at all and fat buds. No other option.

those Are plant growth regulator commonly used for making short plants. All product that contain it at hydro store won’t have it on their label. These products aren’t banned in Canada, you just need a pesticide licence to buy it. The reason the banned some brands such as phosphoload or mega bud is that their not labeling their product properly and not telling what’s in it.
