If it's only a week I'd just feed a little extra before you go and have your someone else just water them. Some nutes can start going bad in a couple days after mixing and your plants won't up and die if they don't get some for a few days.
I keep my plants in pots big enough they only need watering every 4 days and generally feed then just water then feed then just water so it would fit my schedule if I left for only a week.
I used to have to go out of town for over a month sometimes when I worked in the oil patch and the wife cost me a couple crops over the years. She has other redeeming qualities so I kept her around anyways.
