strain description help with finishing times

Happy 4rth of July freaks....I have a pretty good question.

When a description of a strain says it will Finish in 55-65 days does that meen from when the seed has cracked or 55 days from when put up to flower?

Lol @ that and it means from when you start to flower.

Yup, that is the flowering period of the plant. This can be the full growth period from seed to harvest too, if you wish!
You can start the seeds off from 12/12 from the get go. The downside is a compromise in yields.

If looking at auto flowering strains, most will be ready for harvest 60(ish) days from seed.

Again, yield is lower than off of a regular Indica, Sativa or mixed plant NOT containing Ruderalis.
Any strain in particular that you are curious about?
