strain strategy, and substitiue for a month or two of composting SS?

I am chomping to get going on this. where can I source materials for organic super soil in the Boulder Denver Golden area?

You have way more options than I do in Texas, but I started buying local soil instead of bagged hydro store stuff after a nasty fungus gnat incident. I still purchase coco coir and bat guano from hydro shops, though. Worm castings I can find year round from local sources on craigslist, but during the gardening season (or just before like it is now) I can find worm castings and everything else at the local hardware stores.

That is what I like about Subcool's recipe....everything is quite easy to find.
