Hope all is well everyone!! I’m going to be doing my first outdoor grow this year and I’m wondering if anyone has any high performing strains they recommend. I’m in Massachusetts / NH area and I’d really like to pick a strain or a few that performs well in this climate!! Preferably classic strains on the affordable side. Thanks for all the help have a blessed day!

What do your summers look like?

How often does it rain?

What is humidity like?

How hot does it get?

When does the frost set back in?

I had good success with Serious 6 outdoors as a fast flowering Sativa with good effects and pretty flowers. Zero issues with PM or botrytis during an unusually moist spring/summer in the northern latitudes.

Its new England brother....the weather changes every 5 min . Lol, no consistency really other than high humidity ...I recommend hollands hope, skunk, northern lights, ice, or any purple kush....my best grows came from these strains...hollands hope is specifically designed for our climate. Not my favorite strain but holy cow the yield is massive

any purple strains i meant. I like purple kush the best. Resistant to disease , cold, mold, and finishes just in time before it gets too cold

I think I’m popping northern lights, blue widow, Frisian dew, and even tho I regret purchasing his gear, Banana Hammock RBX1 by ethos... all finish in under 65 days so I’m anticipating a late September early October harvest

I'm guessing your in western mass being closer to new Hampshire. What a great environment to grow in, I started there. I find the tropical strains do great until the cold starts rolling in around September, the finish was always a struggle in comparison to more native strains.

I tried to find all early finishers... hoping it works out in my favor

American haze sounds amazing. Where did you order the HH from? Dutch Passion? I had heard about that Strain when I was initially research strains that would work well up here

Hollands hope I ordered from my least favorite seedbank but they are incredible. Msnl has them specifically designed to grow in the unpredictable climate of holland. Cold, hot, humid, wet , its something man . Check her out. Sounds perfect for new England huh

Yea this kind of weather need mold resistant strains.

High humidity and rain do not bode well for outdoor grows when it comes to bud rot.

Amen to that. The struggle is real up here , need specific strains that either finish flower in mid to.late September. Any further we need those cold and mold resistant plants

Yep. I lived in NY for 28 years. I didn't grow back then but I lived in it.

I dont envy you lol.

I'm in nor cal where it doesn't rain from mid April until November. Low humidity but super high heat.

So my needs are the exact opposite.
