Strains 2Grow for Rosin?

Recently caught the Rosin Bug.

I am wondering if anyone knows of some naturally resinous strains for pressing Rosin. I recently got a nice setup and I’m extremely curious. Since my curiosity has sparked the only strain I have found most recommended is Gorilla Glue #4, but there’s about 100 phenotypes and I don’t want to go there.

So, the only one I’ve found is called Frost Boss, and its been in the works here in Portland for many years. Since moving to the Pacific North West, I’ve had the best luck with local genetics from farms who claim regular seeds are superior to feminized; these local growers actually claim enhanced stability of genetics with regular seeds. If anyone has any recommended strains near Portland or the west coast in general, it would be greatly appreciated.

You can get cuts...you don't HAVE to hunt for #4...
But I've heard Diamond OG is pretty choice for rosin

I grew some washing machine, it came out like a waterfall, the seeds came from seedmans. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to press.

In my personal experience, flower rosin is not preferred. THAT is not to say Rosin isnt my most favorite thing in the world....Rosin pressed low and MADE FROM FULL MELT BUBBLE is about the nicest thing to dab in my world. Paramount flavor with a perfect terp/cannabinoid ratio that isnt overpowering like some of the HC/HT combos.

In my search for better bubble strains i found most would suggest indicas, ive had HUGE success with GG like you mentioned, but also have had luck with any of the cookie crosses and GMO was about the best stink yet. Ive had people tell me its because the size of the gland head was more often in the optimal range (70-90U) on indica strains. (not that I have verified that fully). Any strain called hashplant or anything with hash in the name is usually known for just that. Post above me stated "washing machine"....most definitely named that because of how well it does when you wash it!

Regardless of this, you must ask yourself one question before you begin your trip.....Are you looking for quality....or are you looking for quantity?

There is only 1 pheno of the true legit gg4. All others are NOT true clone only gg4 from JW.

Hands down the most rosin producing out of my 18 strains. When I did press rosin, she was a winner for weight every time. 3.5g flower in, 1.3g rosin out. Gg4, darlins net, chaos, cheese, con kush, kal kush, etc didnt net more than 1g rosin with 3.5g flower in.
